AMU Admission: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the date for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG 2024). For students willing for admission to the MBBS and BDS courses, the exam date is May 5. The date was released on the official website (neet.nta.nic.in). For Aligarh Muslim University admission to the UG and PG courses, NTA has also released the exam dates for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG and CUET PG 2024). The dates are May 15 to May 31, 2024, for CUET UG, and March 11 to March 28, 2024, for CUET PG.

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is one of India's largest central universities, with over 37327 students enrolled. AMU's full form is Aligarh Muslim University. The university welcomes students from all Indian states as well as from other countries, particularly those from Africa, West Asia, and Southeast Asia. AMU now has 13 faculties, 117 teaching departments, three academies, and 21 centres and institutes. The majority of AMU's staff and students live on campus, where there are 19 student residence halls and 80 hostels. Every year, AMU's placement records improve. The highest package recorded at AMU placements, according to a press release, was Rs 14 LPA. The complete placements for 2023, however, have not yet been made public. A total of 5,597 students (both UG and PG combined) participated in AMU placements in 2022, with approximately 1,228 being placed in top-tier companies. AMU has adapted the Four-Year UG Programme (FYUGP) model for its UG courses. AMU has a separate training and placement cell for its students, which is in charge of providing job opportunities to its students and assisting them in getting placed in some of the top companies. The university's placement cells also offer internship opportunities to their students. According to media reports, the highest salary offered during AMU placements was Rs 14 LPA to an MBA student. Despite this, the complete AMU placements for 2023 have yet to be released. However, 48 students from the MCA and Engineering streams were placed during AMU Placements 2022. These students were placed in IT firms. During AMU Placements 2022, a B.Tech student received the highest package of Rs 21 LPA. The AMU cut off 2023 is the minimum mark that has to be secured by the candidates seeking admission to the university. When the exam results are released, the university posts the cut-off/ merit list online. For general category students, the predicted AMU cutoff 2023 for MBBS is 2000 to 475000th rank in the NEET entrance test. The DGHS of the Medical Counselling Committee releases the AMU NEET Cut off as the last rank and marks at which admissions are offered in a particular category. The final cut off is released once the counselling process is concluded. As per the previous year, the AMU NEET closing rank for the general category was 29877 and the minimum required score was 582 for admission at Aligarh Muslim University.
