The Aligarh Muslim University admissions are taken in two ways, first, the Departmental Admission Test, and, second, the Entrance Exams for various courses. The university conducts the Departmental Admission Test in Aligarh, whereas examinations of the Entrance Exams vary from course to course and are conducted in multiple locations.  

• The AMU admission into MBBS, BDS, and, BUMS courses is done on the basis of the NEET scores of the candidates. 
• The B.Sc (H), B.Com (H), BA (H), and BSW admissions are based on the scores of the Admission Test conducted by the AMU controller of examinations at an All India level. 
• The entrance examination for BA LLB, MBA, and B.Ed are held in Aligarh, Kozhikode, and, Kolkata. 
• Admissions to B.Sc (H) in Agricultural Science, BA (H) Shia, Sunni, and Foreign Languages admissions are based on the entrance examination conducted by the respective departments of Aligarh Muslim University.
• The B.Tech admission is done on the basis of the AMUEEE (Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Examination).
• B.Arch admissions are based on the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture).
• The MA, M.Sc, MCA, M.Ed, MFA, MIRM, and MHRM admission is based on the entrance exam conducted by the respective departments of the university itself. 
• For MD and MS admissions NEET UG (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Undergraduate) scores are required.
• For MDS admissions, NEET MDS ( (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery) scores are calculated. 
• The GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) scores are needed for admission to M.Tech. 
• The CUET (Common University Entrance Test) scores for B.Sc (H) Home Science, BA (Hons/Research) in Hindi, Persian, Sanskrit, Women’s Studies, and, B.Voc in Production Technology, Polymer and Coating Technology, Fashion Design and Garment Technology, will be calculated. 
• PhD admissions are based on a Written Test followed by a Personal Interview.

AMU Application Process

To apply for Aligarh Muslim University admissions, students must ensure that they register themselves on the official website of the university as well as for their respective entrance examinations depending upon their courses. The process to fill out the AMU Aligarh admission form 2023 is mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of Aligarh Muslim University admissions which is www.amucontrollerexams.com. 

Step 2: Register yourself using your email address and a password.

Step 3: Once you have registered yourself, login again using the same credentials.

Step 4: Fill out the AMU admission form 2023 with all the personal and academic details.

Step 5: Submit the form after uploading all scanned documents.

Step 6: Take a print out of the form for future reference.

Depending upon the course for which students are applying, they will also have to register themselves on the admission portals of their entrance examinations respectively. AMU Admission Process Through CUET-2023 

The candidate who wishes to apply for Aligarh Muslim University admissions in courses where admission is determined on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the Combined University Entrance Test (CUET)-2023 conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). 

• Candidates have to fill the CUET Application Form.
• Next, the candidates have to download the CUET Admit Card.
• Candidates have to appear for the CUET 
• Next candidates have to meet the CUET cutoff.
• Candidates meeting the CUET cutoff have to participate in the CUET Counselling.
• After the seats have been allotted the candidates have to proceed with the fees payment and document verification

AMU Application Process Through CUET-2023 

Registration Process:

• Candidates have to register for the CUET online application form and system generated application number is to be noted. 
• While filling out the CUET online application form, the candidate must provide all necessary information, as well as create a password and select a Security Question and answer.
• After submitting the personal information, an application number will be generated which will be required in the further steps of the Application Form. The application number should be noted down for all future references. Next time the candidate will be able to log in directly with the given system-generated application number and set a password.

CUET Application Form Completion:

• Candidates have to complete the application form, by filling out the personal details, educational qualification, selection of university or program, exam paper details, selection of the examination cities, and uploading images and necessary documents after logging in using the system-generated application number and set password.
• The photograph should be recent and either in colour or black & white against a white background with 80% of the face visible including ears (photograph should be without a mask).
• JPG/JPEG format should be used for the scanned photo and signature. 
• The scanned photograph should be between 10 and 200 kb in size.
• The scanned signature should be between 4 and 30 kb in size The scanned copy of the Category certificate's size (SC/ST/OBC/EWS, etc.) in pdf should be between 50kb and 300 kb.
• The scanned copy of the PwBD certificate should be between 50kb to 300 kb in pdf format

Payment of fees:

• The CUET fee can only be paid online by Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or Paytm. The respective Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator will charge the candidate processing fees and GST, if applicable, in addition to the examination fee.
• After the successful payment by the candidate, the confirmation page of the online application form will be generated.

The AMU cut off 2023 is the minimum mark that has to be secured by the candidates seeking admission to the university. When the exam results are released, the university posts the cut-off/ merit list online. For both boys and girls, the university will publish the Aligarh Muslim University cut off 2023 list separately. The AMU cut off list comprises opening and closing marks, or percentages, that applicants have to meet in order to satisfy the admission standards. The number of test takers, the difficulty of the entrance exam, the candidates' scores, and other variables are taken into consideration when determining the AMU 2023 cut off.

The AMU NEET cutoff 2023 will be available soon. The predicted NEET MBBS cutoff ranges from 2000 to 475000 in the General category and from 245000 to 475000 in the PWD category. On May 7, 2023, the NEET 2023 exam was held for admission to MBBS, BDS, B.Sc nursing, and AYUSH courses. The answer key for NEET 2023 is anticipated to be released this week (tentatively).
